Stewarding our resources
The finance committee handles the day to day income and expense items for TUMC. This involves collecting and depositing donations made to support the work of the church, paying bills and distributing benevolences and reporting on our financial position to the congregation and government. This can involve lots of government mandated forms like TD1, T4 and T3010. The finance committee also prepares charitable receipts at year end. Charitable giving via pre-authorized bank debits is also managed by the finance committee.
The committee consists of the treasurer and another appointed member.
